Description
I have been photographing deer in this location for a number of years now, so I have learnt a great deal about the habits of these animals. This particular crossing takes place almost every morning at around seven. These young Fallows normally stay together in a small herd, so I had to visit the spot a few times before I got a chance to photograph one crossing on his own. The muted autumnal colours really come through in the gentle morning light. The stillness of the water created a wonderful reflection.
