Description

This charismatic and somewhat comical bird is one of Britain’s best loved avians. They spend most of their lives on open seas and only came on land during the breeding season in spring. I was really taken by this scene where it appeared that the three characters are having a chat of sorts, in the glorious last light of the day. Like their appearance, the Puffin’s call is unique and instantly recognisable. The sound of these ‘chatty’ seabirds in a large breeding colony can be quite impressive.
