Description
With a wingspan of about eight feet (2.5m), it’s no wonder the Sea Eagle is also known as the ‘flying barn-door’. Of the various locations where you can enjoy these magnificent raptors, the west coast of Norway offers the best opportunity. I have been visiting this spot known for its population density for a few years now and with the help of a local expert, I was able to photograph these majestic birds at extremely close quarters. This stunning hunter banked close to our boat after diving for a Mackerel.
